Cadastral surveying, which is also refered to as property surveys, deals with many aspects of legal registrations of land parcels. Sectional Title surveys also fall under the heading of cadastral surveying where by buildings are split up into individual sections and are represented on a Sectional Title plan. These plans form the basis of procuring a title deed when registered at the Deeds office. Without a sectionl title plan transfer of individual flats and or factories contained in a buidling development would not be possible.
